Tirelli was a standout forward at Florida Atlantic University and went on to play the last five years at the professional level within the USL W-League. She also brings several years of collegiate, high school and club coaching experience to the Lady Jaspers soccer program.

Tirelli spent the 2008 season as a Division I assistant coach at her alma mater where she helped Florida Atlantic advance to the Sun Belt Conference semifinals. During her one-year term with the Owls, Tirelli mentored three players who received All-Sun Belt honors, and 14 of her student-athletes were named to the Dean's List.

Prior to Florida Atlantic, Tirelli coached within the club level working for Quickstrike FC recreational and premier teams in New Windsor, N.Y. In 2006, she served as the head coach of the junior varsity team at Coral Springs High School in Florida before spending two years as an assistant club coach in Boca Raton, Fla., for Team Boca's U14-U15 premier teams.

Tirelli received All-Conference accolades in each of her four years as a student-athlete at Florida Atlantic. A two-time team captain, Tirelli was named First Team All-Sun Belt and Sun Belt All-Tournament Team her junior year, after leading the Owls in goals and helping the team advance to the conference semifinals. Tirelli repeated as a First Team All-Sun Belt selection as a senior and finished her career with 66 points on 27 goals and 12 assists.

The Tampa, Fla. native currently plays professionally for the New Jersey Valkyries, following a two year stint with the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues of the USL W-League. She started her career in the W-League playing two seasons with the Cocoa Expos (2006-2007) and played the following year with the Tampa Bay Hellenic (2008).
