POMONA, NY – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released the 2025 All-MAAC Postseason Teams. Junior outfielder Aidan Taclas was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team. Redshirt Sophomore pitcher Chris Fidanza was selected to the MAAC All-Rookie Team, as disclosed this morning.

"Happy for both Aidan and Chris for the well-deserved recognition." Said Interim Head Coach Steven Rosen. "They each were huge contributors to our success as a team this year, and I'm grateful both decided to come to Manhattan last summer and join our program in my first year."

Taclas was one of three Jaspers (Ryan Lordier and Trevor Hansen) to play and start in 47 games this season. The San Francisco, CA native sat second on the team with a .321 batting average, crossing the plate 32 times, and pacing Manhattan with 49 hits on the season, while logging 35 RBIs—the second most on the squad. Additionally, Taclas swiped seven bases to open his Division I career.

Throughout the campaign, Taclas put together numerous memorable games, including a season-high 10-game hitting streak spanning from February 22 against Charleston Southern to March 11 at Lafayette. He also put together a season-high four hits at Quinnipiac to open the Bobcats series and smacked three doubles in a three-game series win. Finally, he crossed the plate four times in an extra-innings victory over LIU on Long Island in April.

In the MAAC, Taclas smacked 17 doubles on the season, which was tied for fifth with Siena's Jeremy Sangalang and Iona's Jordan Overton. Taclas was also tied for 16th in total bases with 102, with Saint Peter's Ashby Vining.

The Sacred Heart Cathedral product transferred to Riverdale after a successful stint on the JUCO circuit playing for the College of San Mateo.

Fidanza, a transfer from George Mason, recorded three victories and two losses in 15 total appearances on the bump for the Green and White. The New Fairfield, CT product registered a 3.55 ERA in 33.0 innings pitched, surrendering 26 hits, 19 runs, 13 earned, and fanned 41 batters.

He put together a career outing with a season-high five strikeouts in a victory against Saint Peter's on May 3 at Clover Stadium. In the lengthiest relief appearance of Fidanza's first campaign in Riverdale, he fanned four Purple Eagles in five innings of work in a 5-3 victory over Niagara in Western New York on April 19.

"They both worked incredibly hard this last year, and their seasons are a testament to that."
