RIVERDALE, NY — On Friday afternoon at Gaelic Park, Manhattan Softball dropped game one to Rider, 4-0, and then saw the Broncs storm back to take game two, 7-5.
GAME ONE: (MANHATTAN 0 | RIDER 4)

Rider struck first in the fourth inning with a solo home run from Kristyn Gardner to take a 1-0 lead.

A single from Shea Johnson started Rider's rally in the fifth before lead-off hitter Fallyn Stoeckel and Shelby Dyer doubled and singled respectively to extend the visitors lead to 3-0.

Rider tacked on one more in the seventh on an RBI single from Dyer.
GAME TWO: (F/8 MANHATTAN 5 | RIDER 7)

Manhattan took a 2-0 lead in the first after Brianna Estevez doubled to right center field, Lindsey Hoag absorbed a hit-by-pitch, and then Sophia Kiseloski drove home both with her double.

Rider evened the score at two in the third on a two-run single by Gardner.

Manhattan retook a 3-2 lead when Jamie Falotico touched home during a fielder's choice force out at third. Pepper Markel earned the RBI on the play.

Manhattan extended its lead in the fifth on another two-run double for Kiseloski, giving the Jaspers a 5-2 cushion.

Rider erased the deficit by scoring three in the seventh inning, including one run on an RBI ground out for Dyer and a two-run double for Gardner.

The Broncs added the go-ahead tallies in the eighth on back-to-back singles from Shea Johnson and Fallyn Stoeckel.
