LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Manhattan men's and women's track and field had a productive day one at the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Rider University. Overall, the Jaspers captured a pair of gold medals and two more silver medals, highlighted by Alex Kristeller winning the Men's Hammer Throw and Alex Bilello garnering first-place honors in the Men's Long Jump.
MEN'S RESULTS

Bilello snagged gold in the Men's Long Jump with a score of 7.04m.

Kristeller and Paul Brennan registered first and second place with marks of 65.11m and 60.21m.

Lewis Forster took silver in the Men's Javelin with a throw of 59.87m.

Manhattan boasted two qualifiers in the Men's 100 Prelims with Darion Lopez registering second place at 10.52 and Thomas Dubnov Raz making the cut in eighth at 10.62, a new personal best for the sophomore.

Lopez qualified for Sunday's 200m Finals by finishing in fifth place in Saturday's prelims.

Rasmus Jaeger notched fourth place in the Men's 800m Prelims with a time of 1:55.56, qualifying for Sunday's Finals.

Thomas Dubnov Raz finished sixth in the Men's Long Jump by going a distance of 6.79m.

Brian Oduour scored a personal best in the Men's 400m Prelims coming in 14th place (50.07).

Adrian Alonso posted a personal record time of 9:36.25 in the Men's 3000m Steeplechase which earned him seventh place.

In the Men's 400mH Prelims, Thomas Bonsignore checked in at ninth with a personal record of 55.88.

After day one, Manhattan is first in the men's standings with 41 points.
WOMEN'S RESULTS

Martina Martinez won the Women 400mH Prelims with a time of 1:01.85. Martinez takes her spot in Sunday's Finals.

Kylie Conroy grabbed fourth overall in the Women's 1500m Prelims and second place in Heat 2 with a time of 4:45.86.

The Women's 800m Prelims featured Conroy earning fifth place with a time of 2:16.90, a qualifying mark for Sunday. Mikaella Martin and Elaina Batista each recorded a personal best and season best, respectively.

Alexandra Caraher placed fourth (46.24m) in the Women's Hammer Throw while Naiylah Shepherd (45.12m) notched eighth place.

Qualifying for Sunday, Ellianne Fernandez secured second in the Women's 400m Prelim with a time of 57.70, which was edged out by Rider's Hailey Palmer (57.70).

In the Women 100m Prelims, Tranira Booker set a new personal record with a score of 11.95 for sixth place and a qualifying mark.

Isabella Sing secured seventh place in the Women's Long Jump with a score of 5.81m — a new personal best for the junior. Sing also took ninth in the Women's 100mH Prelims with a time of 14.69 — her second personal best on the day.

Also in the Women's 100mH Prelims, Makayla Dorvil showcased a personal best performance in the event with a 12th-place score of 14.87. Martina Martinez also ran at a personal best pace of 14.93, good for 13th place.

Fernandez took home 20th in the Women's 200m Prelims while freshman SaRae Kennard notched a personal record of 26.16 in her final run of the season.
