Liotta Named to MAAC WLAX Second Team

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Manhattan's Andrea Liotta was the sole captor of a spot on the Second Team All-MAAC Team on defense for 2024.
 
It's Liotta's third straight all-conference honor after earning first-team accolades in 2022 and 2023. Liotta played an integral part in the Jaspers' defense. Starting in all 17 games, the graduate led the Jaspers in ground balls (47) and caused turnovers (28). The Glenwood Landing, N.Y. native leads the team and is fifth in the MAAC in draw controls (74), averaging 4,41 per game. Liotta picked up 149 ground balls and 284 draw controls in her five years at Manhattan.
