RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan College track & field team hosted The Coach Fred Dwyer Invitational today at Draddy Gymnasium.

The Jaspers competed at home in Draddy for the first time since 2017 this afternoon. In front of a home crowd of family and friends, the Jaspers shined today.
Manhattan finished 1-2 in the women's mile as Andria Scaglione won the crown with a time of 5:11.62 and Bailee Christofis recorded a second-place time of 5:28.04.
Kristin Stickdorn captured first place in the shot put with a mark of 13.27 meters.
The men went 1-2-3 in the shot put with Peter Athanailos winning with a distance of 13.79 meters, followed by Myron Corpuz (13.67m), and RJ Decker (11.86m).
Brian Odour won the long jump with a leap of 6.77 meters, while Thomas Dubnov was right behind him with a mark of 6.52 meters.
In addition, Alex Kristeller competed at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Albuquerque, N.M. He placed sixth in the weight throw with his fifth attempt of the day covering a distance of 21.63 meters (70-11.75). RESULTS
Up next for Manhattan is a trip to the city to compete at the Armory for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships. The championships run from Feb. 24-25.
At the conclusion of the meet, the 2024 Manhattan College Track & Field Senior Class was honored: Ava Kowal, Skye Lehr, Laurah Perrin, Kristin Stickdorn, Lauren Chappell, Harrison Alonzo, Rushil Bulakumar, Brendan Chan, RJ Decker, Jay Glenn, Jackson Haft, Justin Jordaens, Dean Niosi, and Joseph Pelio.
