Preckajlo Wins Discus on Final Day of ECAC Championships

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Alexandra Preckajlo won the ECAC Title in the discus on Sunday to help the Manhattan women's track and field team finish 21^st at the ECAC Championships.
 
Preckajlo recorded a best of 47.72m to claim the title. The graduate student was half a meter clear of second place.
 
Nina Bjorkman also competed in the discus for the Jaspers. The senior finished in ninth with a best of 44.19m.

Up next for the track and field program are the NCAA East Prelims, which are held at the Univesity of Indiana. Student-athletes must qualify for the prelims.
