Edison, NJ - Thirty-one members of Manhattan's men's and women's track and field programs earned MAAC All-Academic accolades for the 2020 outdoor season. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Eighteen Manhattan women and 13 men were selected to earn academic honors this season. Monmouth and Rider were the top achievers on the men's side, leading the MAAC with 21 All-Academic selections each, while on the women's side, Monmouth placed 24 on the All-Academic Team.
The Jaspers' 2020 outdoor season was cancelled earlier this year due to the spread of COVID-19. At the MAAC Indoor Championships in Februrary, the Manhattan men finished fourth overall with a team score of 69 points, while the women finished fifth with 65 points.
