Burlington, VT - Vermont scored in the 87th minute to break a scoreless tie en route to posting a 1-0 win over Manhattan in the finale of the TD Bank Classic at Virtue Field.

The Catamounts improve to 2-1 while the Jaspers fall to 1-3.
Freshman Olivia Printy (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL / St. Joseph Academy) and sophomore Kelly DiGregorio (Centerreach, NY / St. Anthony's) each recorded four saves in net. Sophomores Nicole Copping (Blue Point, NY / Bayport-Blue Point) and Emma Saul (Orchard Park, NY / Orchard Park) each notched three shots to lead the way for Manhattan.
The Jaspers top scoring threat came in the 39th minute as sophomore Annie Doerr (Pittsford, NY / Our Lady of Mercy) fired a shot on goal only to be denied by Coco Speckmaier.
Senior Erica Modena (Massapequa, NY / Massapequa) was named to the TD Bank Classic All-Tournament Team for her stellar play over the weekend.
Manhattan returns to action against Binghamton on Friday, September 2 with first kick slated for 7:00 pm.
