Nick Matson Finishes 12th at USATF Junior Championships

CLOVIS, CA – On Friday night, Manhattan College's Nick Matson (Clifton Park, NY) ran in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the USATF Junior Championships. Running on a warm night at Veteran's Memorial Stadium, he placed 12^th overall with a time of 10:10.69.

Matson qualified for the meet by posting a 9:29.50 clocking at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier in May. This marked the second straight year in which Manhattan was represented at USA Juniors. John Dove (Monroe, NY) made the final of the 1500 meters in 2015.
