Riverdale, N.Y. ? Freshman Bridget Latino broke school records in the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle events as the Manhattan College women's swim team beat Baruch College 51-41 and St. Joseph's College of Long Island 51-41 and lost to Bridgeport University 67-28 in a quad dual meet held Friday at Riverdale Country Day School.  The Lady Jaspers now have a 7-4 record in dual meets this season.

 

Latino swam the 500 free in 5:24.70 to finish second, while she posted the record time of  2:01.42 in the 200 free in finishing third in that event.

 

Megan O'Keefe also stood out in the meet, grabbing first place finishes in the 200 individual medley in 2:27.64 and the 100 butterfly in 1:03.61.

 

Other good performances came from the 200 medley relay team of Rebecca Schwartz, Debbie Atwell, Latino and Goldrick who placed second in 2:01.05;; Kellie Monaco who placed second in the 1000 freestyle, second in the 100 butterfly in 1:07.38 and third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.85  Catherine Chan who finished second in 25.84;
