Sophomores James Marchewka (89-80-169) and Scott Burton (85-84-169) posted the next-best performances on the team behind Calvi. With Marchewka's ability to trim nine strokes off of his score from the first round to the second as a prime example, the entire Jasper squad enjoyed the second round of the invitational much more than the opening session. All five Manhattan golfers who competed posted better marks on the second go-around.

Host Iona took home the team title after posting a three-day team score of 609. Iona's Paul Underwood led the Gaels with a two-round score of 150. Siena came in second place with a total score of 611, which placed the Saints right behind MAAC rival Iona. Longwood University's Allain Blanchard produced the best individual score of all eight teams with a-two round combined score of 149.

Manhattan returns to the course for competition on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Saint Peter's in West Orange, N.J.
