Molly Pheterson was named to the All-MAAC First Team, while senior
Victoria Carman and sophomore
Jenny Carman were named to the All-MAAC Second Team, it was announced tonight at the MAAC Women's Lacrosse Awards banquet.
Pheterson completed the regular season tied for the team lead in goals scored, tallying 32 markers, while also handing out three assists. Her 35 total points was good for second on the team. She also picked up a team-high 42 ground balls. She ranked tied for ninth in the MAAC with 2.29 goals per game. This marks the second straight season she has been honored with All-MAAC First Team honors.
Victoria Carman paced the Lady Jaspers with 44 points on 32 goals and 12 assists. The 32 goals tied her for the team lead with Pheterson, while the 12 assists was second on the team. She ranked tied for ninth in the MAAC in goals per game, seventh in assists per game, and seventh in points per game. Her game-winning goal vs. Marist in the regular season finale clinched a share of the regular season MAAC title and the #1 seed in the MAAC Tournament. Last season she received All-MAAC First Team honors.
Jenny Carman contributed 17 goals and two assists for 19 points. This is the first time that she has received All-MAAC recognition.

Anne Staudt were named to the New York Lottery MAAC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team. Manhattan and Canisius each had six student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team to pace the eight MAAC Women's Lacrosse institutions.
Manhattan completed the regular season with a 7-7 overall record, but a 6-1 MAAC slate, earning the Lady Jaspers a share of the regular season title and the top seed in the upcoming MAAC Championships. Manhattan will take on fourth-seeded Marist Friday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the first of two semifinal games to be played at Fairfield University's Alumni Field.
