Entering his 25^th year of college coaching, Rasmussen enters his second season as an assistant coach for Manhattan's men's and women's swimming teams. Rasmussen's Division I experience includes stints as a coach with the University of Texas, Loyola (Md.) and Saint Peter's College.

A 1983 Phi Kappa Phi graduate of Ithaca College with a bachelor of science in Physical Education, Rasmussen also attended graduate school at the University of Texas. Rasmussen resides in Toms River, NJ.
