Keith Kenny enters his first year serving as a volunteer assistant coach with the Manhattan baseball program. Kenny played two years at Iona (2005-2007), before transferring to Molloy where he completed his collegiate baseball career and graduated with a bachelor's degree in history with honors in 2009. He comes to Riverdale after serving as an assistant coach at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage, N.Y.

During his tenure at Briarcliffe, Kenny served as the infield and catching coach, while also overseeing Nassau County recruiting. He supervised the strength, conditioning and flexibility programs. Kenny helped guide Briarcliffe to the USCAA National Championship in 2010.

Following his stint at Briarcliffe, Kenny became the Vice President of Baseball Operations for the Long Island Whalers, an amateur baseball organization based out of Long Island. He began his coaching career as the head coach of the Long Island Mustangs in the Hamptons Division of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL).

Kenny was a two-time All-East Coast Conference honoree at Molloy earning First Team recognition in 2008 and Third Team honors in 2009. In 2008, Kenny ranked nationally in NCAA Division II for six offensive categories, including triples (43rd) and walks per game (29th).

Kenny is a certified personal trainer who holds specialist certifications in biomechanics, functional training and core conditioning. He is currently working toward a master's of science degree in secondary education at Queens College. Kenny is also in the process of attaining a sports psychology coach certification.
